Well I reported that no signs had been posted a church but.................... . The pastor and deacons I believe are talking about letting the congregation have a say (most likely a discussion/vote .) Will see.

There is much controversy open carrying in church , there should be . I am not here to tell you how to think . I give everyone here credit for being able to think . Temper your desires with reason . Consider the common good . Make the best decision for a long term result , not short term gratification . Do what is right , may not be what you want but will be in time , patience . Stay the course , you will accomplish your goal . Just thoughts .

No signs at church , anyone OC comes in they will be invited to disarm or CC and join in the services . Very reasonable in my opinion . Talked to the pastor before church and he doesn't think there will be a problem .

It's ok to obey the law and CC at church but it's not ok to obey the law and OC at church.

This is your problem, not ours.

So, if a person's OC is distracting another person's ability to worship God in His house, that is their problem? Really? A person's right to OC justifies disruption of the work of the Church? If the members are good with it, OK, but if they are not..... Just because it is legal doesn't always mean it is right, wise or considerate.

I know most of the people I sit around at church and for the most part we are like minded people. It's not going to be a shock to anyone when people OC.

Me being concealed carry distracts no one , I will not affect anyone's worship do as you please but think before you do . Bout all I got to say .

Armed, yes. Distracting, no. OC is not the considerate option at most churches in my opinion. But to each his own. It is a choice I wouldn't make and don't respect.

No signage at my church , frankly I haven't known how the pastor feels about it , might affect my concealed carry there so didn't want to know . Last summer after the main service during upcoming announcements he mentioned a CHL class and referred members to 'Bryon" another member to get details .

A couple of weeks later for a prayer breakfast I was there early in the morning to help cook . We were alone in the kitchen , I was frying sausage and the pastor was making gravy . I asked him what the CHL class announcement was about and he was vague , said a few members had asked about it and was just trying to help . I thought a second and said .........You know , I'v been armed and carrying since I joined this church . He steadily stirred that gravy and said .......Oh , really . Nothing else was discussed .
We have several outreach programs , one is every Saturday at a run down motel . Mainly drug and down and out folks living there , we feed and have a service outside . He has pointedly asked me a few times if I'm going to be there .

I don't think open carry will be encouraged in my church but concealed will be fine .
