My need for a pocket pistol is encroaching on my desire to wait on purchasing one of these. With all the positive reviews that have been coming out about these pistols, I think my pocket carry needs are beginning to outweigh my first revision caution. Barring some major news of problems, I'm planning on finding and purchasing an LCP as soon as the tax man sends me my refund.
Now I need to find a place nearby that carries them.

Yeah, I'm trying to stick to that too. Getting harder as time goes by, though.lawrnk wrote:Yeah, I think I talked myself into waiting at least a few months to see if any bugs arise.

Re: Ruger LCP availability?
You might check at Cost Plus 10 as well. I've noticed that he carried the P3AT in the past, so I'd imagine that he likely has started carrying the LCP as well - probably at a better price than McBride's.Mike1951 wrote:A friend saw one in McBrides a couple of weeks ago priced at $275.

Re: Ruger LCP availability?
The specs have it at 8lbs. It is supposed to be a little cleaner than the P3AT, and from what I've heard a bout Sigmas - considerably cleaner than a Sigma.htxred wrote:whats the trigger pull weight? anything like a sigma?

Re: Ruger LCP availability?
Good to hear a positive report. No failures even with intentional limpwristing is especially good to hear. Perhaps I'll be looking into getting one soon.

Re: Ruger LCP availability?
I am also wanting one, but am waiting a bit for any potential bugs to be worked out. Buying the first revision of anything pretty much means you will pay too much, and get to be a tester for any bugs/issues not found in the initial testing process.
