Re: Printing - failure to conceal?

After paying and walking out the front door I was putting my billfold in my back pocket when my jacket pulled up and fully displayed my ccw rig. There was a policeman acting as a rent-a cop for store security, watching customers at the front door. He looked right at my pistol, our eyes met, he was cool and didn't say a word. Lesson learned! I'm very careful now about how my coat or shirt is covering my pistol.
Oops!

I had a similar occurrence when getting a tire fixed here in Austin. I was getting out of my van as usual, and apparently my lap belt caught on my untucked work shirt and pulled it behind my pistol. I started to walk up and talk to the attendant there, and I noticed his big eyes looking at my waist area. I looked down, and sure enough - there was my pistol for all the world (well OK, just him) to see. I covered it up and continued my conversation. He seemed a little weirded out at first, but didn't say anything and nothing else came of it. Probably the fact that I was like 3 blocks from the downtown police station combined with my demeanor that everything was normal likely convinced him that I was probably some sort of undercover/off duty LEO or something along those lines.
