Both myself and my Fiancee did our Application online. So that might explain part of it. Once they have it in there guess you'll know it's on it's way. I'm sure they are pretty darn backed up with everything that has been going on. From some of my co-workers I've heard anywhere from a couple of weeks to an average now of 6 to 8 weeks.. Mine was just shy of 8 weeks and it looks like my Fiancee's is going to be 9 or maybe 10. We'll check on it again next week and see if there is any movement.
If I'm not mistaken each time I checked on my status it was late in the week when I saw the changes.. Like Thurs or Fri.

I did the mail in app also and its now day 50 for me since DPS has recieved my app and packet and DPS has yet to enter my info into the system. I try to log in and get the Error message.

On getting the error message - Give it about a day or 2 before you try to log back in. When my Fiancee tried to do her app online in the beginning she was getting errors as well. They kept telling her to wait 24 hours before trying again. At one point we gave it 72 hours and same result. I think ultimately we gave it about a week and she was able to log in to create her application. Look at it this way.. If you give it the time and then try it. You'll be pleasantly surprised when you see "Mailed". OH as for contacting their tech support to get it fixed.. Forget it! She tried that and that failed..

I'm new to the Forum.. I actually stumbled across this forum when I was looking for some suggestions/answers. So after reading some I decided to join up.

I sent my paperwork along with my Fiancee's paperwork towards the end of Febuary (around 21st) and it took about 25 days before I saw any sort of movement on mine as well. I would check maybe once or twice a week to see if there was any movement. I then saw last week that my background status changed from Under Review to "Manufacturing pending" (Well something like). Anyways, about 3 days later it said Mailed. So I actually got my plastic as of Today (so about 56 days total). I honestly didn't know if I would have gotten it or not. But I'm honestly glad to be apart of the growing numbers of CHL holders out there.. Now the interesting part is my Fiancee's is still sitting under review. I would have thought hers would have flown through without a hitch and gotten it before I did. Not worried but one bit but it surprised me that I got mine before her. We will continue to check on it once or twice a week and see if anything has changed.

I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all and learning what I can..
