Class B Misdemeanor and Constitutional Carry
Hello guys, I used to instruct years ago, but got back into an 8-5 job. Had a former student who is currently being charged with a non-violent class B misdemeanor. I read through the updated penal code and Texas law shields handbook/pamphlet, but just wanted to make sure - He is good to carry under ...

Re: 46.03 Signs
US law shield is of the opinion that a simple gunbuster sign may hold force of law to prohibit unlicensed carry. And based on the penal code verbiage, I may be inclined to agree with them.

Re: Help Convincing HR to Allow Carry
A CEO should be able to dictate to HR what they want for their company unless there is a board of directors that has authority over the CEO in such matters. Another issue will be the owner of the building the company is leasing space in. Their house, their rules. That will likely be a bigger hurdle...

Re: Help Convincing HR to Allow Carry
Hey guys, long time no post. But I have an old friend of mine who needs some help. The company she works for has a 3rd party HR department, and they don't like carry. However, the CEO does approve of license holders carrying in the building. The landlord company of the building also does not prohib...

Re: Find Proficiency Requirements on DPS Website?
Instructor here, and I just wanted to print out the latest and greatest course of fire from DPS. I don't think it has changed, but I seriously cannot find the actual course of fire anymore on the DPS website. Anyone know where I can find it? Texas License to Carry Handgun Proficiency DemonstrationC...

Instructor Grace Period?
I just got everything squared away to renew - shot today for my LTC-100, Filled out the LTC-90, have my NRA cert ready, and took the exam. However, I just put in for an address change, so the option to submit a new application for renewal is not available... Anyone know if there is a grace period fo...

Re: Walmart has fallen!
Well there is CVS... And with so many companies "asking" or "requesting" I'm going to keep on my normal routine unless I see signs or am asked not to carry.AndyC wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 3:13 pm Walgreens just joined in:

Re: Walmart has fallen!
I completely agree with Oldgringo here. Whataburger, HEB, Target, and many others with these policies appear to me to be saying we're ok with being agnostic to concealed carry. Doesn't seem that inconvenient to plan for this and just put your shirt over your holster when you go into one of these pl...

Re: Walmart has fallen!
I've never been a proponent of OC; therefore, 30.07 in any form upsets me not a bit. :tiphat: I’ve never been a fan of revolvers so if Texas were to ban them, I wouldn’t care a bit. :biggrinjester: Exactly. Just one more step closer to banning all carry. Normalize banning one, the other doesn't see...

Re: Walmart has fallen!
Kroger falls too. Shame. I shopped at Kroger exclusively after they gave mom's demand action the middle finger. Where to shop now everyone? I already had HEB on my ban list, now Walmart and Kroger too. Target? https://thehill.com/regulation/business/459833-kroger-asks-customers-to-stop-openly-carryi...
