Hmmm, now that I think about it. =D

This will be my third post on my experience but now I'm really curious as to how it happened and hope that it helps others here understand what may be happening. Mailed my complete app on March 8th, status finally changed from 'awaiting required materials' to 'background review' this past Friday, April 28th. Now for whatever reason I checked again today and boy I'm glad I did because now status has changed to 'background completed'/'manufacturing pending'. But why so fast???

I've read others say that perhaps the web site is way behind what is really going on, lack of time to update it maybe? Perhaps my background was under review for much longer but the site just reflected the change recently? Who knows! All I know is that based on others here I should maybe get my plastic within a 1 to 1 1/2 weeks, or maybe the state will hand deliver it to me. ;p

Anyways, share your thoughts and definitely share your experiences if you have info directly from DPS related to wait times, web site updates, etc..
In the meantime, I hope many of my fellow March applicants share a similar experience as mine and get this waiting game over with.
