I realize there is no requirement to know what you are talking about to post on this or other forums, but this is ridiculous.

Have you ever met an actual real deal SEAL? I won't claim that all of them are law-abiding 100% squared away 4.0 sailors but "stupid" almost never applies. I have been around SEALS for the last 45 years, my b-i-l retired as a SEAL O-6, and I lived just down the road from the school house in Coronado where all are trained. I have been partners with SEALS, represented them in business deals, triathloned and partied with them. I don't recall any who would be termed stupid, although sometimes some have gotten in trouble doing stupid things. The rigors of training usually weed them out pretty efficiently.

The man I referred to has distinguished himself in a number of callings. I seldom agree with his politics but he has been uncommonly effective at accomplishing what he sets out to do. Hardly anyone has the resume he has earned in a lifetime of remarkable accomplishments. No one can doubt his courage, tenacity, intelligence or responsibility.

I can only hope you are confused by the last name and wished to lash out at former Senator and present Secretary of State John Kerry whose antics over the same time have been mostly of an entirely different character.
What does meeting a 'real deal SEAL' have to do with anything?

I've met 'real deal Green Beret Medal of Honor" recipients and other Green Beret's had them as my teachers, does that count?

My perjoratives were intended primarily for JOHN KERRY, but frankly, I don't have a whole lot of respect for ANY DEMOCRAT in office who remains so KNOWING that their party leads the way in introducing initiatives which are running this country into the ground and denying the values and laws and Constitution it is based on and which have now resulted in dictates from the DoD which basically label the Founding Fathers, and all who believe such as they do, 'extremists' and potential terrorists.

As far as I'm concerned, any DEMOCRAT in office who remains in that party, is a traitor, regardless of any past HONORABLE Military Service based on their own and their party's denial of the Founding Fathers and their beliefs and of the U.S. Constitution.

Frankly, I'm not even all that thrilled with most Republicans in office at the present time either.

Some may believe that 'compromise' is the name of the game, and that the give and take required to compromise can result in eventual 'win's' at a later point in time.

If that were true, we wouldn't be in the absolute mess we are in today, all because of compromise.

We are going the way of Rome and Greece, and all we have to do, is sit back and watch, and enjoy the coming horror show.

So no, even through I was mistaken in confusing MOH recipient and former SEAL BOB Kerry with that lying slug John Kerry, really, in the end, there wasn't too much difference between the two except that one of them seems to have served honorably in Vietnam (Bob), while the other (John) ran his mouth against his fellow American Servicemen and women and against the war while it was occurring (as if it made any difference) and basically branded himself a traitor just as Jane Fonda did.

At least I'll apologize now and admit my mistake.

Unless I missed it, I haven't heard any from John nor Jane, nor from Bob for being a member of the Democratic party.

You won't get any either from Slick Willy, his traitorous wife, John Kerry, nor pretty much any of those Democrats elected to office who are guilty of blatantly lying to their constituents and the general public while in office.

In the future, the term 'Democrat' will be looked on with as much disdain as the word 'Nazi', and "Muslim".

Kerrey had the gratifying experience of living to see how right he was.

I blame Kennedy for inspiring little Billie to want to be President in the worst way, which eventually he was.

Are you confusing Bob Kerrey of Nebraska with John Kerry of Massachusetts? One was a Seal Team Leader who is the recipient of our nations highest decoration for valor the Medal of Honor, Kerrey. The other received a Purple Heart for being wounded with rice, Kerry.
The ONLY Kerry I was referring to, was JOHN "I am ready to serve" Kerry who was in Vietnam who was swift-boated for his 'heroics'.

My apologies for the confusion.

No kidding!

I can't speak in negative terms about the current President, but as soon as he leaves office, I'm going to cut loose.

Hypothetically speaking, it should be against the law for pathological liars who spend millions preventing the release of their birth certificate, or their grades even while they publicize how big a pothead they were in college, to become a lawmaker, let alone the President, hypothetically speaking, of course.

It should also be against the law to hold an office if the office holder can't keep from making outright blatant lies at practically every press conference or speech.

The Democrats in office the last few years have taken making subtle and especially outright lies and slanders to a level I would never have imagined, and have never seen since Baghdad Bob started opening his pie-hole during Gulf War I. In fact the Democrats in office at the State and National level make Baghdad Bob look like a saint in comparison.

I used to vote for Democrats in our local elections. I will not vote for one again.

This time around I voted Republican. I did my part.

A quick question... Did anyone have to show ID at the polls to vote?

I did and so did my wife. I thought nothing of it.

Did anyone else?
I did, it was no big deal.

I usually lose my Texas Voter I.D. Card, but I have had at least 2, and now 3 valid Texas State I.D.'s, Texas State I.D., Texas Drivers License, and Texas Concealed Handgun License. It wasn't difficult to get any of them, because hey, I'm a citizen. Big deal.

Anyone who whines about having to show a picture I.D. to vote has an ulterior motive, or is here illegally and shouldn't be voting in the first place.

I wonder how difficult it is to buy a fully automatic AR-15. I'm guessing it's ALOT more difficult than voting, and MUCH more costly.

Even if bubba the liar compared getting an I.D. in the state of Texas to buying a REAL assault weapon, he'd still be wrong.

If people are here illegally, then they shouldn't vote, period.

If people have a problem showing a valid picture I.D. to vote, then they shouldn't vote either until they get one, period.

Clinton is an inveterate liar.

He lies to his wife, to his constituents and to the public.

As a matter of fact, the pair of the them are liars.

If lying to your constituents or the public was against the law, I wonder if there would still be anyone left in Washington D.C.

I'd bet that Republicans in Washington D.C. as well as in Austin, would vastly outnumber any remaining Democrats.

We really should make that a law.

I'm really tired of all the overt as well as subtle lies coming from those who are responsible for governing the State, and this Nation.

It's just sickening.
