What brand and bullet type are the 223's? Also, what brand .22 hits your fancy?

Re: Shotgun by the door / ready condition?
If it were me, I would get rid of the wasps and daubers first then worry about the shotgun

Re: Winchester Gun Safe not working
I didn't see any mention of this posted here so I thought I would do so. When it comes time to replace your battery or batteries, open the door first and leave it open while changing them. Then, use your code to make certain all is well. I know of two cases where for whatever reason, the doors were ...

Re: Poll. Will you be watching the Super Bowl and Why?
For years I have given a rats behind about pro football. I personally know a lot of retired NFL players who are friends of mine and they are nothing like todays "stars". Then when the kneeling started, that was the nail in the coffin as far as I was concerned.

Re: How High to Place a Demand Feeder?
I don't lease for deer hunting but have a fair sized ranch in the brush country. At any given time we have 14 to 15 - 2000lb. protein feeders that are free choice feeders and quite a few corn feeders of the 600 lb capacity that are timed feeders. I have pictures of coons grazing at each. I use Duke...

Re: How High to Place a Demand Feeder?
Crash you might also consider coons. Once word gets out that you are feeding corn, you will have the whole family dining at your expense. :biggrinjester: krieghoff, I've had a demand feeder out at a lease before, on a T-post, and the opening was only a couple of feet above the ground. Maybe the coo...

Re: No star in upper right corner of your DL? Problems after 10/1/2020.
I have received two letters from DPS about my renewal. My CDL expires next October. Regardless I would have to go in for the renewal in any case with that license. I am just going to wait. In the last few years any flying I have done has been by private plane so it wouldn't matter anyway. You get to...

Re: Help identifying rattler!!
911 Out in this part of the world, 911 is not the best option. More than once they have gotten lost getting to the ranch. Takes them about 45 minutes when call is placed. That's the reason I said what I did earlier. I can pass by several friends on the way in. Stop and let one of them drive. Can su...

Re: Help identifying rattler!!
If I happened to get bit I would listen to my own self first. Call a buddy en route so he can either follow me or see that I get there. 20 miles to town and hospital is first building on the left!!

Re: Help identifying rattler!!
Growing up in the South Texas brush country, one thing you always did was keep at least one eye open for rattlers. Knock on wood I have never been bit but have had them hang up in my shirt cuff, pull strap of my boots, and chaps. It gets your attention real quick. I hope the OP is OK. Not mu...

I was wondering if anyone has heard from this fellow. I would almost be willing to bet train riding money he had a problem with the bite.
