I believe the scanning is to make sure you get the right ballot during early voting, since anyone can vote at any early voting location within their county. Some precincts are voting on bonds and local elections that differ from other precincts. On election day scanning will not be needed, since you will have to vote at your precinct designated voting location.Liberty wrote:I don't understand this scanning thing. If this did happen, the clerk at the polling place was wrong. The LTC is one of seven types of picture ID that is accepted. The DL is not scanned to vote it is just used to verify ID with the picture presented by the person.
