Next time you're on the south side of town (Clear Lake Area), try out Pro-Defense off of Nasa Road 1 and I-45. They carry a nice variety of small carry pouches and packs as well as several itmes that can be modified for such use. The guys there will even let you do what my wife did: Put your gun in a something that your interested in and run outside with it to see how it feels. Lot of good guys there with a lot of good info on carrying devices.

Some must run during this time frame. My wife is a marathon runner and when you're running 15-20 miles at a time...you don't do a lot of that at 12 noon in Southeast Texas. She runs in darker clothing with reflective stripes, 1 hand-held CS spray, a small cell phone and a .38 in a specially made fanny pack I designed out of a EMT kit. She runs as early as 4:30am up to 10pm. I don't think anyone is "asking for trouble" when they do this anymore than some one walking through a downtown area at night. It's something that we will do and not have a criminal dictate. There are ways to make it "more safe" for ourselves and a crime is 9 out of 10 times one of oppourtunity. One can be a victim of a crime in broad daylight in a nice, populated area of town just the same.Molon_labe wrote:Why are you running in the dark down a "spooky" road?
Don't you know the badguys like it when its dark, people can't see them as well doing their dirty work
I suggest finding a better place and time to run bud, kinda asking for trouble...
