Re: Apartment Fire Marshall Inspection??

I'm a fire fighter in a suburb of Dallas, although not in the fire marshals office. I understand how you feel, but I would say don't worry. The fire inspector is looking to make sure the alarm systems have not been tampered with and are in your apt. They are also looking to make sure there are no un...

Re: DO WE WANT THE PARKING LOT BILL IN SPECIAL SESSION?

Governor called. In case anyone needs the number: Citizen's Opinion Hotline: 1-800-252-9600 press option 2 to be connected to a real person. It took a few minutes waiting on hold, but I spoke to a nice lady. She said the Gov. planned on calling a special session, not sure when he would. And that the...

Re: DO WE WANT THE PARKING LOT BILL IN SPECIAL SESSION?

Same here. The lady I spoke to said she didn't know where he stood on this, but that she and he were aware that there was lots of calls in support of it.

And now off to call the Gov.

Re: Officials unnerve some at gun show

I thought the law read "...if engaged in business, and selling more than 2 items."

Seems like an individual can sell as many personal items as they want. Or am I dreaming?

texas hunter education

My 12 year old is in need of the Texas hunter education training. I thought about having him do the online version, but I am leaning toward the self study book and field course. I see I can order the book from TPW, or some retailers have the study book and video. My question is this; does anyone kno...

Time to renew, again

I looked but didn't see anything perzactly with the info I was looking for. As the title says, I am due for a renewal this year. In fact, I will soon be within my "6 month window" before i expire. I was wondering if we have a list here of instructors, or if any of our folks are instructors...

You are correct!

Colt 1902 Sporting, .38 ACP. Left the factory in 1907. My Dad bought it from the owners widow when he was a teenager.

need help, looking for sight

Guys and Girls, I am stuck. I am starting to work on my Sistema, and need sights for it. I really don't want to machine anything on it, so drop in sights are it. This is what I want but, they are discontinued. I called CMC, and they have no more. So, what are the chances someone knows where I can fi...
