I'm beginning to think the status of 'mailed' doesnt really mean it went out in the mail. It must sit around somewhere and they probably are mailed once a week on a friday or something because mine has said 'mailed' for a week now. I know it doesnt take that long for mail to get from Austin to Dallas even via parcel post.

finally something redeeming about this entire process. It took exactly 1 month to show up in the system at BG check stage, but only took 1 day for the BG check and is now in manufacturing status. Im positive my previous military experience has something to do with that considering how long it usually seems to take with the BG check.

Man this is just so frustrating waiting. It would be fine if they processed apps in order of receiving, but clearly they are not. They received my app according to USPS tracking on 2/16, and nothing is showing up at all online yet. UGH, its driving me nuts checking the status 20 times a day. When do you start worrying they lost it and make a call?


EDIT: finally, website updated status to BG check. Took exactly 4 weeks to the day from them receiving my app. Now to impatiently wait for the second part of this beat down lol. Hopefully it is a little quicker.
