Well a false report is a class B mis PC 38.01. They also could try and apply 38.15 interference with public duties depending on what the lie is. If they ask you "Where is Bob" and you lie then you can go to jail. If it is "What is your favorite color" then lie all you want. What the lie is determines if it is a violation.4t5 wrote:IANAL.
