Re: Gang members with LTC
I'm not sure if they purge the system, but I've seen people on there that have listing from years ago. As far as getting access I had to go through my department head and they sent my application to DPS for authorization. The way I see it if DPS were to run a DL it should link them to TxGang if they...

Re: Only in California
The problem with that, is the son had already disarmed the father, who at that point was no longer a threat, and he shot him twice. I'm sure his defense attorney will attempt to clean that up.

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....
Yesterday I was talking to a friend, who's been a Houston police officer for 15+ years. The subject of open carry came up and it obvious that he didn't like the fact that law passed, but it was his comment that got got me. He said that they're going to stop anyone open carrying in Houston and that t...

This is what Gov. Greg Abbott tweeted moments ago:

That's the same thing the Democrats said.ws03 wrote:Both SB11 and HB910 are not dead yet and I for one will keep hope until the last bell tolls. The legislative process is always a bit manic by it's nature, so don't let the drama make you feel like you should give up.

Re: Poll
Quick question here, what would be wrong with sending emails and making phone calls to members of the house regarding HB910 and asking them to vote in favor of it as it is written?

Re: Campus Carry revived, attached to open carry
I hate to say it but my opinion is that open carry of any type and campus carry along with changes to 30.06 and changing off limits bills are all dead, try again in 2 years, maybe strauss will retire due to health reasons or get run over by a tank during jade helm :mad5 I'd have to agree with you o...

CHL used to when buying a gun...
I have a question regarding the purchase of a firearms. I recently went to buy a new handgun and I has asked if I had a CHL? at the time I didn't have it so I said no. Now here''s the question, would having a CHL allow me to skip the background check conducted by the store?
