Re: Is campus carry dead?

I'm trying to understand where we are in the process at this point, but I think i'm lost. Has this been put on the calendar in the house or senate for a full vote yet?

Re: Concealed carry debate @ University of Houston

Good thing if the law passes their opinions wont mean much. :hurry: As a CHL holder who was just accepted into U of H, I am very excited to hear about this legislation in the Senate. I'll do whatever I can to support it. :woohoo I haven't even started my semester there yet, and I already get the ema...

Re: Have you ever been drawn on?

Got drawn on by a LEO for shooting my pistol back in Sam Houston National Forest in what I thought was a public gun range, but aparently was shotgun on...

249 & Spring Cypress still has a few long guns on the shelf behind teh counter. I looked them over yesterday. Thanks, this one isnt too far. So is the policy that ANY walmart can special order me a gun, or just those that actually still sell guns. I have a feeling trying to order a gun from one...

Speaking of Walmart...

Does anybodys local walmart still sell firearms? They took them out of both of my local stores in NW houston. I was hoping to order a Savage .17hmr they have listed on their website, and they're significantly cheaper than any of their competition...

That really depends on the pistol, specifically what the DA pull is like. I have no problem carrying my PA-63 hammer down with the safety off. The DA pull on this specific gun is long and somewhere around 20 lbs. I'd be happy carrying unlocked with a much lighter trigger as long as I knew I could t...

I can't get it to reliably go bang when I pull the trigger with any of the aftermarket springs I've tried. It works with the factory spring, but the trigger pull with that is about 2,000 pounds.

I took my class at Top Gun and everything went very smoothly. I think my instructor's name was Ken (tall guy, looks sort of like Richard Petty). The class went about as well as any 10 hour class on state law can go  Just listen, follow instructions, and ask questions if you have any. I remem...

I'll add my 2 cents. Last time i went, they had people at the door asking everyone if they had any type of knifes, weapons on them when they entered. I had to take my knife back to the car.

Kershaw leek is what I carry now. The speed safe assisted open on this knife is awesome, you have to try one out for yourself. I think I paid about $40 for it at my local academy.
