I understand busy! It just needs to be a priority thing either for the information or entertainment value!

When you are planning on being in my neck of the woods, send me a PM and we can set up some range time. if you are going to be here on the weekend of my Ladies' class I would love to have your ladies attend.
I don't want to get your (or my) hopes unfairly -- while it does appear that all three of my ladies will be in Texas that days which is unusual, the chances of getting them all to Houston (we live in Austin) and also finding myself some help to babysit the 4 toddlers (I can handle two for about 2-4 hours  ) is low.

Our younger daughter from NC is coming in and will be back and forth between now and then; my wife is more likely to make League City from time to time, but unless I go along there is probably no one to watch even my older daughters twins. (That's a tough one even for me -- don't know how Christy manages it 24/7.)

If it every works, I will jump at the chance though. They all enjoy shooting, it just doesn't make it to the top of the "to do" list very often.

Thank you. As all of us are, she's busy, and likely would only do this if I 'bugged her' to do it. Easier to get her back to the range. I saw someone (CompVest I believe) advertising a Ladies Only class in North Houston -- if we happen to be visiting my daughter (far south Houston, League City) then I might suggest they both attend.

(I just recently retrieved my loaner from my daughter -- she asked for it due to an 'incident' but doesn't practice or keep it where she can use it, so I am more concerned about the babies growing bigger than her needing it. I am not fond of guns just gathering dust in a drawer, especially a drawer.)

Back when I was a bit "richer" I really wanted to fund my daughter and her husband, my wife and I, going to a partner tactics class. Unfortunately when there's money there is usually no time and vice versa. :rolll

Thanks so much for the replies ladies. I know I haven't started a particular interesting thread but I did want to say hi and welcome to everyone.

Jealous of partner teams and posting in Ladies only

Although I see the discussions in Ladies Only through the "new posts" search, I really wish that you kind ladies would post more in the Ladies -- General area.

My wife doesn't carry (a firearm) or have a CHL, but she has hers for home defense. She is very positive on firearms and defense, but lacking in confidence to take the CHL class and shooting test (even though she would easily pass -- she just thinks it is harder than it is.) She has taken one or two Basic classes from Penny Riggs (and her husband Karl Rehn of KRTraining.com) and shoots at the range with me sometimes.

It's not clear she wishes to actually carry either, and I won't push ANYONE on that subject. Anyone who wishes to carry or own a firearm should do so if they decide to do it safely, but no one should force that responsibility on anyone else.

Anyway: HI ladies! :thewave

Stay alert. Stay safe.
