During a life threading situation most fire over and over and don't realize it. Short term memory lose is common also and I know some LEOs who thought they only shot once but when you watch the video they emptied an entire mag.BigGuy wrote:Its' hard to see where everybody is. The initial shots seem to have certainly justified. But later the officer is firing the weapon at a significant downward angle. I'd say more than 45 degrees. I know we shoot until the threat is abated. How much of a threat would an attacker be if you're engaging him at a 45 degree downward angle on a level surface?

They used non leathal first and it was ineffective, you lunge at a officer with a knife it will end bad for you. I don't care if the person is mental or not, a threat is a threat and my goal is for I to go home. If you disagree with the police protecting themselves and putting their life and safety first then don't call them.
