The customer service reps for DPS know nothing about how long its going to take. My BG check took 10 days to complete and I had a felony juvenile charge back in 1998. I sent in required info about the arrest. I was already 63 days in since DPS had my packet though. That is why I think my BG check only took 10 days.texasgal13 wrote:

It took 63 days from the time DPS signed for my packet before I got my first update, I think this is why my BG check only took 10 days. Finally went to mailed today, 76 days so far.

I think when it updates to mailed it means your plastic is in the to be mailed pile.

Are the updates from the previous day? I was in manufacturing pending yesterday and manufacturing today. Does it mean that my plastic was made yesterday will be put in the mail pile today?

There is no telling with DPS, I assume they are off on the weekend cause my BG check was under review Fri and Sat, Sunday it updates to complete.ksome1 wrote:

I think DPS system updates every 48hrs, I don't think DPS works on Saturday. The Sunday updates we get must be from Friday.

I thought it would be easy not to check everyday waiting for the status to change. I was wrong.
SigP250, Hopefully we were in the same batch and you see a change today or tomorrow morning.
DPS updates their system at 6am only once per day. No reason to check more than once per day.
