Render first aid after shooting??
I tried searching for this topic but didn’t find anything. So bad guy attacks and you shoot him. While he’s no longer a threat, he is down and still alive. What is the requirement or guidelines on rendering first aid?? Assume you’ve called 911. I can see several possibilities. 1. You render first ai...

Re: Anyone use Ship My Gun?
Any good or bad experience with it? Needing to mail a gun out to Arizona and weighing my options. While I'm on the subject, any recommendations for an FFL to ship with? I went to Texas Gun Experience and they quote me something along the lines of $55 to ship it plus transfer fee I believe. Is there...

Re: Attorney for Gun Trust
I used Gun Trust Guru dot com and had an excellent experience. I replaced a $$ trust that was a pain to manage with one of his. Now, it’s so much simpler. We spoke on the phone to make sure everything was 100% good and off I went. I’m sure others will have their opinions which is fine, I’m just sayi...

Re: Question about FFL application
I am not a lawyer, but here’s my thoughts. Get a separate business name and organization. Whether LLC, SUB-S whatever is up to you. You can do business out of your A/C location if you want but you have liability shield between your FFL business and your other business / personal finances. If someone...

Have you looked at the Vortex AMG UH1- Gen 2?. I have used Eotechs in the past but am very, very smitten with the UH1. Just a suggestion.

I've sent you a PM with my phone number. I'm here in Houston, and will be happy talk with you to find out what you want, and give you some targeted guidance to fit your needs. :biggrinjester: Thank you all. Love the map. Since the event is still a ways off, I'll call closer to the date. Again, thanks

Safe / unsafe areas to stay for NRA meeting
I’m considering driving down from Dallas for the NRA meeting. Any recommendations on generally good / safe areas to stay to the north? Thanks

Re: Recommendations on where to buy a safe
Count me as another satisfied Safe Company customer. They treated me very, very well. Btw, I see Amsec has changed their “entry” level safes from BF to BFX. Better, more robust door locking system. One piece of advise - buy bigger than you think you need. Seriously. Bigger. If you go with Amsec and ...

Is Texas really 3x the other states??
I was looking at nfatracker.com tonight and the number of transfers by state (https://www.nfatracker.com/nfa-transfer-time-tracking/ click on the Transfer by State tab). If the numbers are to be believed, Texas has almost 3x the number of NFA transfers being tracked than the closest #2 state (FL). I...

I've been enjoying reading your recommendations. You've given me a lot to think about and rifles to research. Thanks a lot.

Grandkids .22 rifle recommendation
I have some grandkids who are growing up and will be ready to learn how to shoot. I’m looking for a .22 LR rifle recommendation. If I put an optic on it it would be a red dot so I guess I need a pic rail on top if they come that way. If not it’ll be good to learn with iron sights. Oh and it needs to...
I never understood using "Front". You know some Dim Bulb is gonna ask which side is the front. "This Side" would be clearer. No? :confused5
Maybe because it's two sentences? -- Front. Toward enemy. And the instructions say to point the front of the mine towards ...
