I don't pretend to know it all, but I would assume that nothing starts until the entire package is complete and received by DPS. 3/02/13 - Fingerprints and Passport photo taken

3/13/13 - USPS Delivery conformation
3/22/13 - Application processed online and awaiting on the receipt of required materials.
I'm curious, since I paid on February 13, would they have started my background check around that time, or do they have to wait until they receive my packet? It was 1 month from when I paid for everything until they received my packet. Just wandering and like most people, WAITING!!!!!!!
