Re: Dick's Sporting Goods to destroy all unsold firearms after Parkland shooting

I have a Dick's/Field and Stream about five minutes from my house. How do I know this? I pass it every time I go to Academy or my LGS.

Re: How to talk to Anti's

If someone chooses not to own or carry a firearm, that's fine by me. I just object to that person attempting to make my choice for me.

Cheers!

Re: Put one in the chamber, or don't carry it!

The seat belt and helmet analogies are excellent. Those analogies effectively point out that a device design begs to be used as intended. The seat belt only functions as intended if the user has fastened it across their body. The helmet is only effective if worn properly on the head and not strapped...

Re: Smart Guns

I'll consider a smart gun when: -biometric safes no longer require a backup key -my iPhone no longer needs a manually entered pin when my hands are wet -cars are sold with no defects requiring recall -computers no longer need a reboot key sequence such as Ctrl, alt, del -bluetooth devices always pai...

The AP actually ran this story on their U.S. News section. (No anti-gun commentary or snowflake thoughts for the dead perpetrator) Couldn't believe my eyes.https://apnews.com/d7fa7edc04904cc7a967 ... ry-suspect

Re: Fort Worth PD says officer was refused service at Wendy's

"an unfortunate misunderstanding" doesn't quite cut it for me. I wonder what the Wendy's company response would be if police failed to respond to an emergency call to one of their outlets? Would they accept "an unfortunate misunderstanding" as a valid reason for the lack of servi...

Thanks for the link, but It's like watching paint dry. As I wait for Texas to vote, I'm hoping the liberal celebs will finally begin the journey north to Canada.

Re: Moronic Florida Woman Opens Fire On Guests For Dumbest Reason Ever

A direct quote from the article sums up my thoughts, "I shouldn’t have to say this, but I’m going to do so anyway: firearms are not toys. Firearms are not warnings, or alarms, or celebratory items. They are deadly force weapons, and are to be used responsibly, or not at all. If you cannot wrap ...

Re: Art Acevedo to be named Houston Police Chief :(

Living just outside the People's Republic of Austin in the safe confines of Williamson County I'm glad to see him go. However, I think he should take a drive out west to California where his politics would be more warmly received. Local news coverage of this guy's actions and comments leave me speec...

Re: UT Austin protest in progress

So Acevedo had to ensure the safety of the protestors personally? Welcome to the People's Republic of Austin for those of you unfamiliar with our local politics. I'm proud to say I live outside Austin and Travis County. Williamson County still provides some sanctuary for sanity, however the growth o...

Re: Trump Wins!

And now the mass migration of celebrities will begin. Many of those elitist, liberal hacks proclaimed that they would leave the United States if Trump were to win. (Many made the same claim when Bush won, and they are still here) Any volunteers to help them pack their bags?

My ordinary front plate catches just as many bugs as the custom plates, and I save money to buy more ammo.
