Re: For the Aggies....

That's awesome. I have people stopping me all the time when they see my ring or sticker on my car. Gotta love the Aggie network.

Re: Educate me about scopes

For hog hunting I think a red dot would be a great choice. Since its generally at shorter ranges, it will allow quick target acquisition and move from hog to hog quickly. You can also add night vision to help out and many red dot sights have night vision settings. I would look at the aimpoint pro. I...

Re: Secure storage options?

:smilelol5: Thanks for the offer. And that's not a bad idea, but I'd really like to keep them with me. I plan on taking three with me, and I switch around what I carry depending on what I'm wearing.

Secure storage options?

Well I will be relocating out of state for a while and I plan on taking a couple of my carry pistols with me. Because of my living situation and time that I will be there, I won't be able to take my safe with me. I will have a roommate once I get there (that I don't know and haven't met before). I'm...

Mine is the standard barrel V7. That really sucks! I would be so mad.

:iagree: While not everyone fits their stereotype, those stereotypes exist for a reason. I don't think you were wrong in what you did. Better to be prepared and watchful than politically correct and dead.

Re: have you bought an ar?

I bought one a couple weeks ago. I hate to admit it, but I did pay a bit over what they used to go for. But I picked up a Daniel Defense, and it was the only place I've found that carries them and wasn't on at least a six month wait for them.

Re: Picked up some new toys!

I just graduated from college and got the job that I wanted, so the AR and Kimber were a gift to me. :rolll The Benelli was an anniversary gift from my girlfriend. :coolgleamA:

Re: Need some help

I've always enjoyed having my IWB set up, but I didn't know if a full size would be very comfortable like that. I talked to some people yesterday and I was told that Texas passed a law last year that you can carry at your work place regardless if their policy says no. Does anyone know more about that?

Re: Missouri carry laws

Indeedy, it does; it's legal to carry a concealed knife with a permit. Missouri bans carrying concealed weapons without a permit generally, but having a permit/license from any state exempts you from their concealment law for all weapons, not just handguns. Re: Need some help

Do you plan on taking your jacket off during work hours? Both OWB and shoulder rig require a cover garment, like a suit jacket, 100% of the time. If you plan on wearing a jacket all the time, i vote for OWB. I feel the shoulder rig, while concealable, can still be seen if you are not paying attenti...

Re: Picked up some new toys!

You pick those up from champion? I got the Kimber and Benelli from Champion. I couldn't believe how cleaned out their store was. I bought the last Kimber they had. Kimber Custom II TLE? I have one and love it too. :hurry: :patriot: :txflag: It's my first 1911 and I love it. It's probably the most c...
