There has been quite a spike in violent crimes recently in Cayman. Several attacks by vagrants hiding in the mangroves on seven mile beach.

As long as you have a valid Texas CHL and do not carry into a building when you pick up your grandchildren, you are completely fine. Correct. You technically are in violation of federal law for being in a gun free zone unless you do have that valid Texas CHL. An out of state CHL is not good enough....

Does anyone know of a handy wallet card or something similar that details the prohibited areas for carrying? Why do you need a card? Did you not just take the class? Maybe you should not be carrying. After watching Gunbroker for about 5 months, I picked on up for $479 including shipping the other day. That was the cheapest I had seen, most go on GB for at least $550-$600+.

I was wondering if I should be concerned. I mailed all the info out plus completed my application online feb 12th and tracking shows delivered on Feb 14th. Right now my info says License Status: Application processed online. Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required material...
