After much waffling (I'm the John Kerry of Hurricane Rita) we decided to head to our church on the north side of town (we live in Katy) and after about an hour of getting not more than a few miles down the road, we decided to come back home and hunker down.

I was amazed to see all of the cars overheating and running out of gas. I didn't want to get into the same situation as them, although I would feel much better at the church.

So, Katy it will be. I heard one guy say that his gas got siphened from his car overnight. I've got to figure out how to prevent that since I don't have locks on my gas caps.
