Re: What ammo should I carry?
The kind that goes bang.. but really.. I'd have to agree with the overall theme here. If I was going to pull that trigger I'd be firing lethal rounds. It would be a life or death situation. I would never want to be in a life and death situation and have less than stellar ammo in my gun.. It's simple...

Re: Texas REALTORS and CHL
They don't have explicit invitation onto my front porch. I as a Realtor have explicit permission to enter these properties by the property owners. If someone rings your doorbell at 11pm trying to sell you a magazine subscription, is your front porch their place of employment?

Re: Texas REALTORS and CHL

Re: Texas REALTORS and CHL
You're saying you have to satisfy the previous prevision to carry a gun anywhere, including a place of work? Sec. 46.02. UNLAWFUL CARRYING WEAPONS. Re: Texas REALTORS and CHL
I know it's a fine line.. I'm not going to start carrying until I get a CHL.. but IMO, I really don't think this is the case for anyone who is working in their "place of employment". They don't need a CHL to do so. They just can't be denied the ability to do so by their broker or the home ...

Re: Texas REALTORS and CHL
The homeowner does not transfer full control of the home to you unless you are assigned as a caretaker in their absence, not just the listing agent or buyers agent, so I personally don't believe it would be considered a premises under your control. I can see your point there but I'm not talking abo...

Re: Texas REALTORS and CHL
BTW, It's my opinon and interpretation of the Texas law that make me think a Texas REALTOR doesn't need a CHL to carry a gun to and from their car, office and the house they're showing. Please correct me if I'm wrong. PENAL CODE TITLE 10. OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, AND MORALS CHAPTER 46...
