Re: Firing a 'warning shot' into the air
Absolute bone headed decision on his part. I have no sympathy for people who are dumb enough to fire into the air. I just can't stop thinking about all the innocent people he engaged by doing that. I hope when he's on the stand the question gets asked, Did you know what was behind your target? And h...

Re: Question for the CHL Veterans-Concealment
Yes, you will hear it be referred to here as "printing". Even though nothing is illegal about that, it is a good idea to try to minimize it as best as possible. Of course if you're carrying a double stacked handgun there will always be a little bit of a "print" from it no matter ...

Re: Best 9mm ammo for Defense?
My preference is Winchester Ranger T's, 124 gr. +P in my G19. But since those are hard to come by right now I wouldn't mind picking up some gold dots next time I need to refresh my carry ammo.

Re: Glock 30S or XD (S) 45
I own the xds and one of my family members recently got the 30S(I haven't shot it yet). I will say the 30S with the mag extension feels about the same size as my G19. So I personally don't really qualify it as a subcompact, especially comparing it to the XDS. It's a tough decision. I love my glocks ...

Re: Hanoi Jane is playing Nancy Reagan
From what I've read about it, the story is a complete lie - not at all what happened. I wouldn't walk across the street to spit on Jane Fonda if she was burning to death, but the movie has much bigger problems than just her. He was born in Virginia, not Georgia. He never witnessed a lynching. His m...

Re: CHL Badges ???
I would say 90% of people on this board have the CHL Badge. The other 10% is made up of 9% which use the CHL sash, and those darn 1% that use the Tiara. I respectfully disagree :tiphat: I grew tired of my sash getting tangled up in my seatbelt. The Tiara is the only way to go. For a small fee, I ca...

Good, he should be charged. No reason to pull your car over to invite a physical confrontation. Sad part is if this numbskull did have a chl, I bet he thought he was fully justified in his actions.

I've had it for $7 a box at Walmart and $10 at academy. Nothing wrong with the ammo, it's good stuff.

Re: Ohio Open Carry
I actually just got back from there. I'm assuming you want to open carry due to not have a lisence with reciprocity to allow you to cc there? I oc'ed once while I was there and everything was fine. I was also in a very rural area in the southeast part of the state. I have read about horror stories w...
