WTS Glock G36 Gen 3
Glock compact .45 ACP with 250 rounds through it with no problems. Purchased new in November, 2012 and carried less than a year. It's in almost-new condition with just a little wear on the slide release from carrying. Comes with the original box and manual, 3 magazines and a Galco IWB holster. I liv...

Re: CZ 75
My EDC is a CZ 75 P07 Duty polymer frame. It is a little heavy for a carry gun, but I like the 16+1 capacity, plus it really isn't that much larger than my old EDC Glock 36 (6+1). I've put about 1200 rounds through it and it has performed flawlessly. My main complaint is that I have had NO LUCK in f...

Maybe the flash from rapid-firing a 45 or an AR-15 or a shotgun would ignite the spray?jmra wrote:Stick a lighter in front of the wasp spray. Re: Today Show-how to protect family during home invasion
Wasp spray? Really? So you blind them and they end up filing a law suit against you for harming them. Worse yet, you get it pointed in the wrong direction and end up spraying yourself. Not 100% sure, but I would bet that the castle doctrine doesn't cover maiming an intruder with a chemical. There is...

Re: A story about how trying to "guess right" can bite you
I rarely go out without my EDC. And in the few rare instances that I do, at some point I find myself thinking "I hope I didn't mess up by not carrying." I think I'll make it a point to go back and put it on when I find myself thinking that.

Re: 30 Most Armed Counties In The USA
So if there are 1000 people living in the county and 591 of them own a gun... (those little red blobs IMHO don't look like they are in very heavily inhabited areas). Yes and no. Pinal Co. Az has a population of about 400,000. Fairbanks is just under 100,000. The take away here is that with proper t...

Re: These are not good times to flaunt your wealth
Kind of like people who post pictures on line of their safes with dozens of guns and reloading areas and mountains of ammo. Just have to wonder if they are thinking things through. (And no, I wouldn't try to break in to a heavily armed home, but then again most criminals aren't known for their ratio...

This is an excellent thread. Yes it is. I suspect our churches will be an even better target for these lowlife than are malls. Not only can they kill American, they can kill American Christians. Sadly, most folks will view this as a "Chicken Little" rant. Chas. I went shooting with my pas...

Re: Springfield XDM .45 ACP 4.5" IWB Holster.
I've been wearing a Galco King Tuck with my Glock 36 almost every day for the past year and a half. When I was looking for an IWB holster it was between Crossbreed and Galco - I went with Galco since the wait was substantially less (days not months!). One of the screws that hold the belt clip in pla...
