Not holding my breath. Just recently, it took the USPS FOUR DAYS to get a priority mail package to Fort Worth from Waco, a distance I can drive in less than two hours.

Finally! "Background check under review".

Yeah, not in a rush, still have 3 months to go on my Florida permit, which is acceptable in Texas.

Prints done, in the mail today!

Been carrying all this time on a Florida permit, time to finally get Texas. Course completed a week ago, online app today, fingerprints next Tuesday.

I have numerous background checks on file with the state, along with an MMPI, from my work in the security field (commissioned security officer and personal protection officer). Hopefully, that will speed things up a bit.

I owe some back property taxes but am on an approved payment plan to clear them up, with no delinquent payments on that plan. That shouldn't meet the "final determination of delinquent" clause, I hope.
