As polls here have shown, OC is not a top priority in our community. However, recent events have made it so. Additionally, if the Governor-elect mentioned it, unprompted, you would think that a) it is on his mind and b) it is a clear signal to the legislature that he doesn't consider it controversial or veto-worthy. In other words, it should be a gimme but anyone following this issue for awhile knows that the opposite has been true (no doubt due in large part to the long-gun OC demonstrations). I suggest that we accept the gift and press on with the rest of the agenda, too.mr1337 wrote:I agree.
