Re: Does Ruger LCP II Slide Lock
Just bought the LCP II and took it to range for the first time last week. Everything worked as advertised. Also, bought two additional magazines (one made for LCP II and one made for original LCP). Tested those and both worked. I was quite surprised at how well this little gun worked. Not nearly as ...

Re: Gander Mountain Bankruptcy
They will probably reorganize and come out of bankruptcy. Few companies liquidate the first time they file bankruptcy.

I don't have a religion, but I do have a strong faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Who have you placed your faith in?

Re: intoxicated passenger glovebox carry
There is a bigger question here. Why would anyone allow close access to a firearm to someone intoxicated? There is a reason for having the prohibition and it is called safety. The wife should bop him over the head if necessary and then properly secure the firearm out of his reach,

Re: Should University Administrators be in the Law Enforcement Business?
There is a law which requires schools to report safety stats on an annual basis. These stats are used to rank schools on safety and schools are very conscious that parents want their "sweet babies" to go to a school that is safe. They cannot get good ratings reporting too much. Now everyon...

Guy needs to be fired immediately. No matter how bad her behavior was it in no way justifies his brutality.

Re: How To Address a Game Warden?
:iagree: I'm just kind and respectful, but I'm not a very formal guy. On the otherside of the coin, I've never been addressed as Taxpayer Rich by any government employee before. It would be nice to be shown a little respect for all of my hard work too. Every police officer I've had contact with in a...

Re: Petition to the Governor and the Texas DPS.
We also have to remember that every agency in the state works under tight budgets these days. You can go to just about any agency and find where service has slipped in one area or another. The question is are we willing to pay more taxes to get better service? What Is acceptable? I applied for my CH...

Are there any Credit Unions where you can become a member. They are much more customer friendly and in most cases every account holder is part of the ownership. Been doing my banking at credit unions for over 40 years.

Re: Campus Carry revived, attached to open carry
All of this sounds like a formula for getting nothing. Campus carry, open carry, no asking for license is far too much to ask and gives pols an easy excuse for not passing (I was really for the open carry but the LE in my area really pressured me because of no asking for license) (I really wanted op...

Re: HB910/SB17 standoff
When is enough, enough? Had a good a bill coming out of the House and going back to the Senate. Someone gets the brilliant idea to make it better and thus the amendment to prohibit asking for license. Law enforcement, and maybe others, don't like the amendment and thus we have a stalemate. Reminds m...
