Re: CHL renewal time?

I've called several times but only get the standard comments that it's in the works. Nothing else needs to be...

Renewals are pretty fast
Sent paperwork from class and such on May 10th.
SO's renewal was 29 days mailbox to mailbox. Mine has been mailed so it will be slightly over 30days.
Very good job indeed!

Too funny
I got stopped today for 50mph in a 40mph. this was the strangest and best contact I've had so far, I just had to share. I got pulled over on Howard by a motorcycle officer. he walks up and explains the stop and asks for the license, insurance, etc. I give the customary reply, " I have a CHL and...

Re: Groceries for guns
I was there, standing behind SIA. Got there at 9:10-ish there was already a huge line. We waited about 2.5hrs or so. The clouds came out so it wasn't too bad. They ran out of money a couple of times and had to run for more. They didn't expect the massive turn out and ended up having to open up the c...

Re: Have you ever forgot to carry your CHL when carrying?
I've forgotten mine a couple times while walking the dog in the evenings. I usually empty my pockets when I get home. I forget to grab my wallet in the whole getting the leash, flashlight, dog and mail bag frenzy.

Those signs are usually aimed at people bringing guns in for work or whatever.

Re: How many 223 rounds is enough?
This has got to be the first time I've seen a thread bragging about how much ammo you haven't bought. 1k rounds can go pretty fast. If rationed to 100rds per visit or month. You only get 10 range visits or months. My family goes way more often and shoots allot more than that. For a frequent shooter(...
