I'm pretty sure by the leftist definition of "white guy", that if someone is of the Islamic faith, then they don't count as a "white guy". By "white guy", I'm sure they mean something like European-descent, middle-aged, conservative/libertarian, likely Christian and possibly a military veteran...all the things that keep Janet Napolitano up at night, worrying.

I guess that liberal-progressive/leftist writer from Slate needs to turn on the TV, or perhaps take a look at some Internet news and see who the bombers really were...as it appears they were Chechens, not "white guys" in the standard use of the phrase...and perhaps Islamists, too.
