The primary arms micro dot is probably what I'll get. They have been well reviewed and were made with the ak in mind I think. You can cowitness as well. http://www.primaryarms.com/Primary-Arms ... aign=md06l" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Obviously an Aimpoint T1 would be preferred.
I like the ultimak more than the Midwest rail setup as I have no need for side or lower rails. The ultimak is also a replacement gas tube, versus the MI piece that goes over the existing tube.

Re: Question on AKs
What you want for a forward RDS is an ultimak. I have one but no optic for it yet, check out this link. http://mrgunsngear.blogspot.com/2012/10 ... d-dot.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Question on AKs
I have a poly and a metal side folder AK. Plastic is more comfortable, but my Krink came with the metal and I want to keep it original. They are definitely the best stocks, but unfortunately pretty pricey to get a build like that.JeepGuy79 wrote:The absolute best folding AK solution in my opinion is a AKM100 series side folding triangle stock. the plastic side folder is great too. Feels good locked up and locks to the left side of receiver away from trigger and bolt, mag, etc.

Kvar sells a similar item that you can fit to any AK. http://www.k-var.com/shop/AK-BFS.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It was what I was going to use originally and from what I've seen work well. I have an unused one (ordered the wrong stock for the gunsmith) that I'd sell off or trade if anyone was interested.
