Well, as embarrassing as it is, I admit it's the Front clip that's causing the most trouble. It's the C clip and I think my gut is pushing it forward and down, it never really hooks in correctly

How do you go about configuring the CTAC to fit? I can't really figure out which hole positions/angle the clips should be in.

Should I put my belt on and try each hole combination? How did you guys fit your CTAC?

The advantage of my XD is that the beaver tail safety prevents the trigger from acting when my hand-webbing isn't pressing down on it, so I always holster with my thumb above the firing pin indicator.
