You're right, the adjustment was to remove one of the springs to lighten the trigger pull. I saw a lot of you tube videos on that as well as read various opinions on different forums. My interpretation of the available data was that removing the spring definitely lightens the trigger pull. However, there were some potential issues: 1) it voided any warranty on the rifle, which is not a huge issue except that Tavor spare parts, (especially an OEM trigger pack) are difficult to come by, 2) there were reports of malfunctions and reliability from removing the spring.
It was the latter reason discouraged me from removing the spring. I modify a lot of my firearms but never want to do anything that would affect its reliability. I probably was being overly cautious but cest la vie.

Tavor rifle-Trigger Geissele
Attention, Tavor rifle owners: Geissele has on their website a description of their trigger pack for this rifle. You can input your email for notification of product availability. The Geissele trigger pack is purported to reduce trigger pull from factory 11-12 lbs to 4.5lbs. Sweet! The price is steep at $350. Sweet but ouch.
I love my Tavor for its ergonomics and balance but do hate the trigger. This solution from Geissele just may make my dreams come true.
