Dust is easy to deal with; damaged wheels, suspension, etc, less so. My general experience with the few ranges I have been to is that the flexibility of the rules (ie, ability to draw from holster, set up targets as you like, rapid fire, etc) is inversely proportional to the quality of the road leading to the range. In other words, the most accommodating shooting ranges will be typically located some distance from urban sprawl.
While I have disagreed with certain individuals at PSC and am somewhat discouraged by certain recent developments, overall I believe it is a well-run range that meets many of my training needs and it deserves my continued support.
