Remember Parkdale Mall?
I went to Parkdale tonight. The 30.06 sign is no longer there. After all the bull that happened last year that led up to the sign being posted, I'm surprised that it's gone. I would love to know who talked some since into them.

Re: Scratching my head over this e-mail from Texas Law Shiel
The Beaumont guy with an AR15 at the mall has a [pre-paid legal] lawyer. See YouTube video. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=05OQj4rmNL0 I thought that the [pre-paid legal] contract was only for cases related to concealed carry? Any gun rela...

Re: Banana Arrested
All of this hoopla around this guy makes me want to go to his shop tomorrow. I want to see if he's way out there or just a strong supporter of our rights.

Re: Banana Arrested
The guy in the suit isn't the owner. He's a kid that was hired to wear the suit. What's funny is you can drive threw Beaumont any day of the week and see plenty of solicitors on the street. Especially the Lady Liberty suit wearing tax people.

Re: 30.06 signs not in compliance with State law
The law is very explicit as to the requirements for notification and therefore prosecution. There's no gray area and any officer making an arrest for a sign that clearly doesn't meet the statutory requirements for prosecution is risking a §1983 lawsuit. I wouldn't recommend saying you saw a sign th...

Re: Went to a posted place tonight.....
Fortunately there are 2 theaters near me. I don't like this particular one but the movie time was the only one we could make. I went to the better one (Tinseltown) earlier in the day and it's not posted.

Re: Went to a posted place tonight.....
I didn't have my cell phone or I would have taken a picture. I wouldn't have hesitated to use it if the need would've presented itself. I'll take a jury over a casket.

and went in any ways. It was a movie theater. They had the correct verbiage on the sign but the letters were only 1/2" tall. I almost put my gun back in the car but figured I would chance it. Other people do the samething I presume? Or go else where? I do not doubt you at all, but I am curious...

Re: Went to a posted place tonight.....
My son said "dad, you can't bring your gun in." I told him, it's alright, that sign doesn't apply to me because the letters were the wrong size. The whole sign was probably 10"x14". It was in both language's.

When looking into hybrid holsters, always check out White Hat. They're here in TX and are nicer and more comfortable then CB.
