That's right. If someone is sufficiently impaired they can be convicted of DWI even with a BAC much lower than 0.08.

If you haven't yet, you can fill out this form and send it to DPS with the requested documents. http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/InternetForms/Forms/CHL-78C.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I don't know what the online form says these days, but the paper application was very ...

Depending on the location of the gateway and desired coverage, a DIY reflector may be a cheap solution. Ugly though.

Re: Why no FULLY covered trigger in many holsters?

So, I have often wondered why many (most of my) holsters are designed with a space exposed at the rear of the trigger guard rather than fully covering that area Holstermakers have to balance 1. covering the trigger while 2. leaving enough space for the strong hand to get a proper grip like below: :...

That's not a bad idea for manufacturers to offer as an upgrade for shoot me first vests.

Lock up the boyfriend or give him the needle.

If we want to point fingers at anyone other than this low budget Bonnie and Clyde who brought this on themselves, let's start with the California officials who helped these criminals prey on the elderly.

Re: Eligibility for CHL with past suicide attempt

Someone over 40 who voluntarily went into substance abuse treatment as a teenager would have to report it but it' shouldn't disqualify them if they're clean and sober for the past 20 years. I think you're in the sale boat. Good luck and welcome to this little nuthouse.

Re: Effective Notice question

My thoughts are that, if they put up a sign or notify by card and the wording is wrong, they intend to keep out unlicensed carry and are ok with licensed carry. Thanks a lot. :banghead: http://texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=73533" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: LEO taking CHL class

I don't see anything wrong with requiring everybody take the same class to get the same license. I think it would be better if everybody got the chance to "test out" of the class, but that should be open to doctors, lawyers and police chiefs equally.
