Acetominophen (Tylenol is the trademark name) has apparently resulted in the death of 1,500 people between 2001 and 2010, has been related to 33,000 hospitalizations per year, and is the leading cause of acute liver failure. The FDA has mandate the decrease of acetominophen when used in combination with other drugs such as hydrocodone. The "Tylenol" part may be more dangerous than the addicting narcotic part, especially as people become addicted and increase their use of the drug and wipe out their livers, probably why the FDA stepped in.
When I took microbiology in college a million years ago I was taught that one thimble full of pure botulism poison was enough to kill everyone on the planet. Perhaps that was true. Natural "meds" are dangerous too. Shall we pick some mushrooms?
