For sake of discussion....... So why is it that just because I want to conceal a weapon that I am now required to go get all this training? I can walk around with my long gun all day and I don't have to have any training?
The current laws aside, what makes concealing so different that I have to be trained to be trusted?

I don't know exactly how I feel about this yet...
I can tell you this.... No one said you can't make your classes longer so be my guest and make them 14 hours. When I took my class, I can say that 1/4 to half of the time was filled with unneeded stories for filler sake. We covered the state mandated items with no problems.
