While it might be tempting to get the 420 packs, it may not be the most cost effective option.
You can find an ammo can at most gunshows for $5-10.
At Wal Mart the every day price of Tula .233 ammo is only $4.97per 20 round box. That is only about $105 for 420 rounds. If you can use the steel case ammo, that is a pretty good deal. This is not the lacquer coated stuff, as I recall, but make sure before you purchase. Great practice ammo in my Mini-14
