Next time you are in the area, you can go to the bar area and look at the acutual license which is supposed to be on display to the public. Near the center of the license you will see the words SIGN = BLUE
or SIGN = RED
SIGN = BLUE means that the place IS NOT a 51% location. Legal for CHL to carry.
SIGN = RED means that the place IS a 51% location. Not legal for a CHL to carry.
Be aware that sometimes in a bowling alley situation, the legal premisis for the bar may include all of the public area inside the building. Otherwise, the patrons could not legally carry their alcoholic drinks back to their lanes/tables.
