We live on a small ranch SE of Dallas - 75 acres - not really a ranch by Texas standards, we call it a cow farm. This place has been in the family for years, so here I've stayed. I like to work, jog, lift weights and talk to my wife and sons. I tend to be soft spoken, I've been told I'm somewhat introverted and I'll admit I don't care at all for large crowds. I like my time here in the pastures and in the woods, probably where I'm most content. I seldom watch television but I enjoy books and I'm a fan of live theatre and classical music - though not extremely well versed or knowledgable about either. I was raised by country folk and have taken and consumed all manner of wild game. I play guitar, write songs and attempt to sing. A critic once described my voice as "roadworn". I'll gladly accept that.

I have a few SA Colt 45s, a reliable 20 ga Winchester pump shotgun, a double barrel 12 ga, an H&R single shot 45-70 and a few more I can't recall at the moment.

My daily carry: Either a S&W 636, Kahr K40 or Ruger LCP, a 1941 replica Zippo, a pack of smokes and a Case Trapperlock with bone handles.

Thanks for having me, I'll read more than post and try to learn a few things now and then. My internet connection here is slow - dial up - so I can't be online alot but I hope to check in, maybe ask a question or two from time to time.
