Fee is $70. The lower cost ($40) doesn't take effect until 09/01/17 if I understand it correctly. I think all you have to do is fill out form on line and pay the fee. Yeah, I forgot renewals were only $70. I was thinking $140. I just went ahead and renewed. . Hopefully they can still use my existing fingerprints and photo. I think they are 10 years old. I more or less look the same so hopefully it will go through as is.
