Re: Current on line renewal wait times?
Fee is $70. The lower cost ($40) doesn't take effect until 09/01/17 if I understand it correctly. I think all you have to do is fill out form on line and pay the fee. You don't have to re-submit anything. Not sure why it's taking me so long, I'm past the 45 day mark, I thought they were supposed to ...

Re: Current on line renewal wait times?
I think I'm on day 46 now. I called yesterday, told them this is my 3rd renewal and asked if they had an ETA. They said they are doing background check and it could take 180 days. I thought they were supposed to finish renewals in 45 days? Nothing has changed with my background so I would think it s...

Re: Current on line renewal wait times?
Thanks...so anywhere from a week to 2 months? I called them because the website is showing "fingerprints and background check under review" and thought maybe there was an issue with my fingerprints. The lady told me that's what it will normally show until it's complete and to all...

Current on line renewal wait times - 3rd renewal - 59 days
Does anyone know what current wait times are for on line renewals? This will be my third renewal. It's coming up on 3 weeks since I sent payment. Renewal status is currently showing fingerprints and background check under review and has been that way for a few weeks. The last time I did fingerprints...

Re: Renewal coming up - fee reduction question
Yeah, I forgot renewals were only $70. I was thinking $140. I just went ahead and renewed. . Hopefully they can still use my existing fingerprints and photo. I think they are 10 years old. I more or less look the same so hopefully it will go through as is.

Re: Renewal coming up - fee reduction question
Thanks for the replies. To be on the safe side, I'll probably just go ahead and renew now.

Renewal coming up - fee reduction question
Hi, I just got my CHL renewal notice in the mail. It expires October 2017. I know there is a bill in the works to get the CHL (or LTC) fees reduced. Question - what are the chances this will become effective before my renewal date? I'm trying to decide if I should pay the current price or wait it ou...

Re: Gun registration will lead to gun confiscation
I don't plan on registering any of my guns unless they can first convince the criminals to register theirs...THEN I may consider it.

Thinking of selling 1st generation Kel-Tec P3AT
Hello, I have a First Generation (I think that's what they are called) Kel-Tec P3AT that I bought new in 2005. By First Generation, I'm referring to the version that was out before the "Frankenbolt" slide design change. It has a chrome slide and less than 300 rounds fired through it with z...
