Thank you, I agree. I've got my AR done up in OD as well and now that it's finally worn in it looks great. Well loved.cmgee67 wrote:I actually think it’s looks cooler the way it does now. Nothing looks cool until your wear the new off! My favorite AR I rattle canned a year ago and it’s wearing in nicely. Heck when it all wears off I’ll rattle her again!

Re: Changed my grip color
Thanks! It's held up pretty well over the last 3 years. The lighting in the photo makes the color seem faded but it's still a very nice green. Gotta hand it to Testors on this one.RoyGBiv wrote:That really looks good.
Will be interested to see how that holds up long term, especially to lube and solvents.

Re: Changed my grip color
Thank you! I'm pretty curious how it will hold up as well. It gives me another excuse to carry this gun more oftenBlue5 wrote:That changes the weapon completely. Nice work, keep posted about how it holds up in and out of a holster. Very well done.

Changed my grip color
Bersa makes OD green rubber grips for the Thunder but not the CC model. I really liked the look of the OD so I took a chance with some paint and I'm extremely pleased with the results. I didn't have any OD rattle cans so I used Testors acrylic paint and an airbrush kit for model planes. I'm not sure why I didn't think of model paint beforehand but should I get the urge to spray some gun stuff (that doesn't heat up) I'm going to use it.
