Take a look at the last time a military prisoner with a death sentence was executed. Take a look at how many are on death row, how long they have been there and where they are in the appeals process. Sad fact is, my Army has a dysfunctional and dismally slow process in dealing with convicted prisoners on death row. Most will die of old age, disease or other non governmental induced death. This administration does not need to protect him, the UCMJ is doing that.

Everyone thinks that we just tie them to a post and call out the firing squad after a conviction but military inmates sit on death row longer than most, if not all, civilian death row inmates.
