I've seen both. Fury was defintely a highly charged war movie whereas American Sniper was a bit of a mix (like you implied). If your daughter read the book I'd say it will have a deeper impact than if she had not as I choked up pretty hard at the end.C-dub wrote:It's in a war setting, but it's not really a war movie. Fury left me in awe whereas American Sniper left me saddened if that helps.
