We splinted her in the position she landed in, with her left leg folded back almost along her body, and the right leg pretty much straight out. Her right leg sustained multiple closed skin fractures and had been twisted a full turn so that the foot appeared to be almost in the correct alignment. She was back out skiing a year later.
