For the Moto G, I think the biggest potential drawbacks are storage space and the physical screen size. I like the portability and 720 x 1280 pixels are enough for me. Others want something larger. I stream music and video over wifi. Others want to keep an entire season of The Walking Dead for offline viewing. It's nice we have choices.Paddler112 wrote:So, you just use a smart phone as a WiFi access device? Like a small tablet. Interesting.
What are the drawbacks?

The best tablet under $100
Might not be a tablet.
Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400
Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 with Adreno 305 GPU
1 GB RAM
Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean), upgradable to v4.4.2 (KitKat)
Multitouch LCD capacitive touchscreen
Corning Gorilla Glass 3
720 x 1280 pixels
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
microUSB v2.0, USB Host
5MP Camera, 720p@30fps video
FM radio
GPS, with A-GPS support and GLONASS
2070 mAh Li-Ion battery
I don't recommend signing up with Boost but I got the moto g and it's a great little wifi device.
