Re: Corona Virus (COVID-19)( SARS-CoV-2) from China: Its going to be bad.
I hate to be the one to say it out loud, but using OSHA a to enforce this mandate is just a trial run at gun control. Note that the entire USPS is exempt from this mandate, pesky unions and kickbacks to The Big Guy are finally paying dividends for them.

Re: latestes windows 10 update
I still have one Windows 10 Pro laptop that I got refurb of eBay a little over a year ago. I now mainly work off my iPads and just got the Mac mini m1 for desktop. The adjustment isn’t as bad as you would think, especially since Office 365 is readily available on the macs. I won’t speak for everyone...

Invader Coffee - Wes Whitlock USMC veteran and Texan (even though it’s Austin) also carried at select HEB’s now)) West Coast Roasting - veteran and great coffee (even if he is living in LA) These are the two alternatives I went towards after the last time the BRCC stepped on their meat last time. I ...

Re: Portable Generators
I'm thinking the 22kw Generac at around $5000 is not a bad deal. Right now they have a deal for two extra years of warranty for a total of 7. Installation is shown to be $2000. Does anyone know if they ever have an installation special? I rather doubt there will be any discounts between now and hur...

Re: Replacement security system?
Due in large part to some unsavory renters we had I got a quick set-up system from Eufy which use their own network and record to my Homekit Secure Video storage. However in every instance of the camera picking up motion it initiates a message back to the Eufy HQ servers and then does its job. No in...

Re: Looking at an older home to buy
Get estimates from plumbers, electrician and any other craftsmen you might need to work on the house. There are varying levels of Home Inspectors, find a good one and pay for him yourself so he answers to you not the seller or title company. Assume you need a full re-wire and breaker panel, and as m...

Senate Bill 4841 - Amping Up the ATF
In the time honored tradition of Politicians, the honorable Senator from Maryland introduced a Bill to give the ATF even more power. Much to my disgust I had to hear about this from another forum today, even though it was put forth on 21OCT20. A couple of 2A groups I have been paying in lifetime due...

Re: Anybody bought body armor? Thinking about it....
If you’re looking for a local group to get the best quality for your spend, check out Vets Mfg group in Katy. While they do have some lower priced steel plates available it’s their poly armor that is in my shopping cart. Unlike most of the competition, including some named in this thread their armor...

...I hope your hearing is OK too. No ringing of ears at all. Can guarantee auditory exclusion is real, I barely registered the sound of the gunshots. We may still all want to choose our words wisely here so the DA doesn't read something that causes a change of heart. Or worse still, causes some cri...

Re: US didn't need to drop the atomic bomb on Japan
I refuse to accept any form of revisionist history meant to dumb down the actual event leading up to an event. Japan was almost ready with their own bomb and our firebombing their cities prevented them from having a functional version as they had to move testing to Chosin Revisor. We had exactly two...
